Electromagnetic Synchronizer

Project Overview

This was one of my early engineering projects, built during my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan.

Technical Details

The synchronizer was designed to:

  1. Align electromagnetic signals across multiple channels
  2. Reduce phase drift in communication systems
  3. Provide stable timing for data transmission

Design Approach

  • Used inductors and capacitors for signal processing
  • Implemented analog feedback for automatic adjustment
  • Achieved sub-millisecond synchronization accuracy

Skills Demonstrated

  • Circuit design and analysis
  • Electromagnetic field theory
  • Practical engineering implementation
  • Problem-solving with limited resources

This project sparked my interest in the mathematical foundations of communication, eventually leading to information theory.
